iOS ActiveSync Email Profile Initial Setup

We have an email profile set up for iOS Exchange ActiveSync, but I'm having a problem. Inside the admin console, when looking at the profile, the first field is "Account name" and it's a required field. This is different from the Android email profile, where the same field is just "Name" and doesn't seem to have the same significance.

When I take a spare iPhone and attempt to set it up with SMC, I open mail, and it asks for the password for the Exchange account that I typed into that "Account name" field. Well, I obviously don't want to do that for every user that has an iPhone, so what can (or what should) I put in that field?

If there's some documentation on the setup, that would work, but I couldn't find any.
