SMC 6.0.5 how enroll Apple devices without Apple ID

Hello,

I need to manage about 200 Apple devices but I do not want to create a new Apple ID for everyone. Devices need to be already registered and managed in SMC before assigned to end users. I cannot use a single management Apple ID to setup devices as I do not want users to be promted for an Apple ID password that they will not know. Is Apple Configurator the only option? With SCM 4 I was able to push SCM client with no need of Apple Confgurator at all, it seems from version 5 this is not possibile

    Hi,

    will SMC 6.1 be able to push the client itself with no need of app signing with Apple Developer Account and no need of Apple Configurator? Please also note that actual Sophos documentation about Apple Configurator/App sign process is really old dated and quite unusable.
