Sophos Secure Email for iOS - Notification problem

Hi there,

We are testing Sophos Secure Email on iOS (Ver. 6.11.9) and noticed that the notification for new messages only works when the app runs in Background. We also noticed that the notification for new messages often appears very delayed (sometimes about 15 Minutes).

When the app is completely closed the notification never works. The Background App Refresh setting for Secure Email is enabled.

Is this behavior normal?

  • Same Problem too on iPhone Devices:

    Notifications dosn't work at all even if the App isn't closed and runs in background. The Badge icon of the App also only refreshes if I open the Container.

    On Android Devices I get thid Failure:

    "App Error: Server not available, please verify your server properties"

    Athough both Corporate EMail properties identicaly for iPhone (works) and Android (works not)
