Mobile Control Client for Windows 8 tablet

Hi,

Very new to SMC.

How do we install the Sophos Mobile Control client on a Windows 8 Tablet that doesn't have a phone number?

    Hi phil60,

    if you are talking about a tablet using Windows Phone 8 tablet it is be the same process as for Windows Phone 8 smart phones.

    During the registration of a Windows Phone 8 device there is no SMS used at all.

    The procedure is also described in the "User Guide for Windows Phone 8".

    In general Windows 8 Tablets using e.g. Windows 8 RT or the "normal" Windows 8 are not supported / manageable by Sophos Mobile Control.
