Afternoon All,

I was wondering if for Android devices Sophos is going to implement the "High Priority" update mode for apps?

I currently have a customer that is looking for this to solve deployment problems with slow updates.

    Thanks for reaching out to the Sophos Community Forum.

    It looks like this is an option available to configure from Google's developer documentation. I will reach out internally to inquire if there are plans to add this to Sophos Mobile.

    I suggest raising this as a feature request by connecting with your Sophos Account Manager as well. If you'd like assistance in finding out who that may be, feel free to send me a PM.

    There are currently no plans to add this feature to Sophos Mobile. I encourage you and any others who may be looking for this functionality to proceed in sending in a feature request to increase the likelihood of this being developed into future versions of SMC.

    Hi Kashal,

    That is a great shame that a basic feature is not being implemented. This is implemented on near enough all MDM solutions currently. Failing this is there anything in the pipeline to create a complete custom policy via XML to achieve things that are not currently achievable in the UI or a way to upload an XML?

    A similar question was raised on an older thread. Connecting with your Sophos Account manager to raise a feature request for this to be added would be best, as I currently don't see one present.
