Intercept X for iOS with Alternate MDM

We have JAMF as our MDM for IOS devices and want to keep it that way. Is there any way to work with Intercept X for IOS without using Sophos Mobile as the MDM?

    Our understanding is that you cannot use more than one MDM, so we have to choose between Sophos MDM and using Sophos Mobile, or keeping our existing, preferred, MDM. 

    If we could use Sophos Mobile but still manage our devices with our existing MDM, we'd like to. Is that possible?

    Hi , 

    Unfortunately, it’s not possible to run 2 MDMs simultaneously. So if you want the protection features of Sophos, you can use the free Sophos Intercept X for Mobile app and the other MDM service. However, you won't get all the protection features in the free app, which are included with the Sophos Mobile MDM service.

    Hi ,

    To add more details, you can deploy Intercept X for Mobile through either Sophos Mobile or 3rd party MDMs. So you'll have the following 2 options: 

    • Manage the device with Sophos Mobile and install Intercept X for Mobile – this requires the Mobile Advanced license.
    • Manage the device with 3rd party MDM and deploy Intercept X for Mobile via the 3rd party MDM – this requires the Central Intercept X for Mobile license
