Sophos Secure Email using LOTS of data

I just noticed today that my data quota on my phone is almost spent nearly 3 weeks before renewal. Dug into it and it seems that the culprit is Sophos Secure Email (see screenshot). All of the trafikk is background data except about 7 MB. 

 

I have checked around in Sophos Central and cannot see any reason why SSE is using this much data. A colleague has the same experience. We are syncing 2 weeks of email. What might be wrong?

    The data consumed by Sophos Secure Email does seem to be abnormally huge. You mentioned that you are syncing 2 weeks of email, so do you have a rough estimate of how many emails were flowing in and out? Did those emails have any attachments? I can understand that the probability of 2 weeks worth of email amounting to 2.8 GB is not that high, but I just want to get this out of the question. 

    I would recommend you to reinstall the application and observe if this issue is still persistent.
