Sophos Mobile Security error

Hello to the community!
I have the same error as addressed here: https://community.sophos.com/products/mobile/f/sophos-mobile-security-for-android/99029/error-messages/359972
but seems like no manageable solutions offered, but to wait for update, which doesn't fix my issue.

So...

when using apps like browsers or social media an annoying error message keeps popping up every 3 minutes: "Sophos Mobile Security stopped responding..."
No Sophos Mobile setting tweaks seem to fix this.

Phone: Doogee X5max

Android 6.0
Latest Sophos Mobile Security version installed from Google Play Store 5 days ago (currently deleted as its impossible to use the phone due to frequent error messages, but i want it back as it is the most lightweight and efficient free product of the kind to my opinion).

    Thank you for your patience on this. Can you please help me with the logs from the device? 

    Please follow these steps:

    Sophos Mobile Security for Android

    • Open Sophos Mobile Security
    • Press the Menu button
    • Scroll down and tap on Settings
    • Scroll down and tap on Send trace
    • Select the app of your choice to share the log file

    You can send the log to one of your email addresses and then share those logs with via a PM.
