Sophos Security Virtual Machine

Hello 
 I've successfully setup the Sophos for Virtual Environments VM that is presented in Sophos Central. One thing I've come to notice is I can't apply Web or Application Policies to the Guest VMs of the Sophos Security VM. I can apply a web control policy to the Sophos Security VM but not the child VMs connected to the primary VM. Hope that makes sense, so my question is can web/application policies be applied to child VMs 
 Anyone else experienced this behaviour? Or is it better to just install the full fat version of the agent on the server that requires these specific policies?

Hi acs , 
 Sophos for Virtual Environments only provides a file based scanning (on-access/on-demand) functions (so no behaviour analysis, exploit prevention, ransomware protections, and many more...). Our normal recommendation is to install the full agent. Just be aware that if you clone VMs (which have the Sophos full agent preinstalled) that you will have to take special actions to prevent that multiple computers use the same identities, see: https://support.sophos.com/support/s/article/KB-000035040

 Thank you very much for the clarification, think I am going to remove this VM and revert back to the full agents. Really appreciate the quick reply, actually submitted ticket to Sophos but you answered first.
