2008 R2 server stopped receiving updates two days ago

Hello,

Did support stop on 2008 R2?  I'm seeing this in the susvc.log:

  • Hi George,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

These update failures are due to the end of support date having passed for Sever 2008 R2.

    Windows Server 2008 R2

    Standard support ends:
End of December 2020 (SEC managed)
End of December 2021 (Central managed)

The last day that updates would have gone through successfully is Saturday 8th January 2022.

If you wish to continue protecting these systems, I'd suggest reaching out to your Account Manager or Regional Salesperson to inquire about an Extended Support License.
