SEC server IP change and Relay servers IP change

Question

I have one SEC console server and 6 SUM servers in my environment. We are moving these servers to a different data center. IPS will change because of new subnet , no changes on the hostnames. How to we keep communication between all servers ? I now this reflects changes to be made on the MRinit.config . We are using http://servername/SophosUpdates for the shares .

Hello Jose Montero, 
 you might eventually want to amend your mrinit.conf s. For now, if the mrinit.conf s contain the hostnames (they usually do) no immediate change should be necessary. For details please see Considerations when changing the IP address of the Sophos server . NB: You could remove the IPs from mrinit.conf instead of changing them. While we're at it - it's not required that the names (FQDNs) in mrinit.conf are CNAMEs, works well with aliases (quite handy when migrating/replacing servers).
