Tamper Protection

I would like to know if there are any ways to bypass the Tamper Protection password.

I have mobile users that urgently needs to remove Sophos Antivirus but they do not have access to our company's LAN.

Other than giving away tamper protection passwords to the mobile users, is there any work around on this?

Several? What's the problem? Do they really have to remove SAV or is it just that they need to modify some setting. In any case giving away the password is more secure that showing them a workaround.

Why? Now - if you give away the password just set a new one in your policies (might be some work depending on the number but still it's simple). Next time they bring their machines in they'll get the new one set - or just decide to remove Tamper Protection from their machines. But if you show them how to work around ... well, that's it then.
