Dear all,

I would like to ask about SAV9.1 (anti virus unmanaged method) support for FreeBSD 7,8,9 .

It already have package on sophos webpage or not ?

If not , How could I activate SAV9.1 on my FreeBSD box ?

Could you kindly recommend ?

Due to SAV4.96 will end of life and not support from sophos since 30 April 2014 .

The platforms/OS retirement calender announces support retirement in version 4 for FreeBSD 7.0 on 30 September 2014. The Calendar of release dates for forthcoming versions suggests that 4.96.2 is in its last month, still supported platforms will be upgraded to 4.96.4 this month and continue to receive updates. Please see also Retirement of Sophos Anti-Virus for Linux, UNIX, Netware, and OpenVMS platforms and product versions, which states no plans to retire for v4 as Special Case for FreeBSD (though without mentioning the supported FreeBSD versions).
In short: FreeBSD is not supported with v9 (and likely won't be), support for FreeBSD 7.0 will end with Q3 2014, v4 will continue to support FreeBSD 8.0 and later.

Thank you for your answer and recommendation , Nowaday after check again
Operating systems supported SAV version 4 retirement
Free BSD 8.0 on Intel (i386 and amd64) 30 September 2015
So that's mean sophos will end support FBSD os on 30 Sep 2015.
and any recommend to adapt sophos engine in our system .
Due to my production system could not change OS anymore related with application support on FBSD box.
So have you any recommendation for this kind of issue ?
