Hi All,

I have Enterprise Console 5.2.1 R2 on a server and can see computers (WIndows 8.1) on my domain.

I have created a "Sophos" GPO on AD server which includes Task Scheduler, Remote Registry, Windows Installer. Also Inbound Firewall Rules to open ports 8192 8193 8194, Remote Scheduled Tasks Management. Remte Service Management and F&P Sharing.

When i try to "protect" a PC via enterprise console, it fails with error code 0000002e. If i disable the Windows Firewall on the client machine; it deploys fine.

What am i missing? Or is this a Windows 8.1 issue??

    I have Sophos Enterprise Console 5.2.1 R2 on 2008 R2 server. Does it have to be on 2012 R2 server to be able to push to Windows 8.1 or should it still work? If it should still work then I will look into recommendations by ruckus!
