virus found

Running the virus check on my mac, it found a virus on my Time Machine backup. It says the virus only affects windows. It WON'T clean it from the backup. Should i be concerned or have to reformat the drive an start another backup?

SAV can scan the Time Machine (TM) backups but cannot cleanup a threat in a backup (complex file structure and rights).

You can look at the log of the scan, find which backup it is in (filename, date, time) and then enter TM and delete all copies of the file (threat) manually).
