Linux installation

Hi,

Apologies for a very basic question, i am new to linux, i am trying to install Sophos to my linux client (centOS), login as root, however i am getting syntax error :

mount -t cifs //SERVER/SophosUpdate /mnt/sophosupdate -o username=<user>,password=<pass>

Any help is appreciated. thanks in advance.

That command is an example, you need to substitute in your server address, username and password in the spaces provided.
