Managed Endpoint Protection Report

The up to date computers and Anti-virus, HIPs installed report show a couple hundred enpoints different.

How can I have more up-to-date computers than I have Installed?

    Hello BDelgaty,

    the number of Up-To-Date computers should be less or equal to the Managed count. Actually the Report does not show the number of Up-To-Date computers but (#Managed minus #OutOfDate). OutOfDatedness is calculated from the AV package the client reports as installed. The calculation is not done for an endpoint which has not reported its AV package (for whatever reason), therefore it  is not considered being OutOfDate and subsequently somewhat incorrectly counted as being up-to-date. In fact it's even more complicated than that so you should view this report with more than a grain of salt.

    Anyway, in SEC view the Update details tab,  sort by the Up to date column and check which computers have this column blank and whether this could (partially) explain the difference.
