Using variables in on-access scanning

I need to exclude some files under user directories.  The directory structure is constant across all systems in the form of "C:\Documents and Settings\xxxx\Application Data\..... where xxxx = users name (jdoe, sdoe, ....).  Is there a solution to this problem that does not entail me creating exclusions specific to each user ( think hundreds of exclusions)?

Thanks

  • Hello bjbailey21,

I've asked about the details as you are , as you've said, not looking for an answer but a solution (other than excluding all D&S or even turning off on-access scanning). But of course it's up to you (how) to pursue this.
