Adding new computer to domain

We have an issue where each time we add a new computer to our domain Sophos software is automatically installed on it, which we want.  The issue is, the user name/password used for the "Properties for Sophos AutoUpdate" is the id of the previous support person who is no longer with the company.  How do we change this id so that when we add a new computer to our domain it will use the id we have built for Sophos AutoUpdate?  We are running Sophos Enterprise Console 5.2.0.644 and Endpoint Security Control 10.3. Thanks.

  • Hello quaine,

    software is automatically installed

do you want to change the credentials used for the installation or the ones used for subsequent updates? The latter are set with the group's Updating policy. if it's an automatic install done by SEC with a synchronized group (i.e. the folder in the Groups pane is green) and you want to change the account used for initial installation right-click the group, select Synchronization Properties - you should easily spot the place where the credentials are set.
