Problem with update

Hello goni,

so where do you think is a problem? The log only talks about success as far as I can see, but no new files were decoded and of that ilk just confirms that the processes are operational and there was nothing to do.

But I`m afraid that new files that are coming like update are not decoded. I send this problem in the sophos but I don`t have response to now.

Hello Agron,

just check the Anti-Virus details of your management server (or any up to date client). As of now 10.2.7 VDL4.88G has 370 IDEs. If you see these numbers then all is working as it should.

The Antivirsu Version is 10.2.7 VDL4.89G and IDEs is 369.

Do you think that everything is OK with updates.

Can anybody help me to solve this problem. I change the password of the Console and I received this messages. I`m afraid that I`m not receiving the updates because tehe new files are not decoded:

Hello Agron,

while there is indication of an error in the last line you posted, the update cycle around 11:25 was successful. Again - if there is nothing new there's nothing to decode and nothing will be decoded. Your version data looks ok.

Synchronization failures are not uncommon but most of them are transient - you should only worry about persistent errors show in the Update managers view.

Hi Agron,

I used to chek for any new file(s) on the warehouse folder ('C:\ProgramData\Sophos\Update Manager\Update Manager\Warehouse' ) to check if updating is running. in my opinion the newest file there is also the newest time the update process run.

or if you're still not sure you, you can try delete the content of warehouse and working folder and see if it's being filled up again by the update.
