Installation Error EP 10.2

Enterprise Console : 5.0.0.8

Client : 10.2

At a customer we habe two server. The server are hyper-v roles and not member of a domain.i start the installation "sophos endpoint protection" from the unc-pfad  \\server\...setup.exe and the setup reports "Third-party software are installed".

avremove.log :

29 Nov 2012 17:18:47 Info: Detection of third-party security and update products complete
29 Nov 2012 17:18:47 Info: Detected Products:
29 Nov 2012 17:18:47 Info:   [McAfee Visual C++ Runtime Setup Package] version: 1.0; 1.0

What ist that? How can i install ?

KB-ID : 38139  has no success.

    Hello Martin,

    the output of AVRemove.exe --listproducts suggests it is removable. You did set the mentioned options to 1 in crt.cfg but the result was the same? One option is to call Support (as per article 117835).

    This is not mass-deployment and thus it'd be more efficient to assess why (and by whom) it was installed, what its purpose is and whether it is needed or not, and if the latter to remove it manually.
