Sophos Client Firewall confguration

Hello everybody,

i have a question to configure a client firewall.

With our firewall we only permit our VPN client to connet to our VPN gateway. This works fine when I am at home or in a remote location.

Yesterday, I was in a hotel. I opened the browser to enter the credentials for the hotels proxy. But this connection was blocked.

How can i realise this when i do not want to allow any traffic over Port 80 or 443 to connect to a proxy and enter the credentials??
Is it possible that are configuration templates exist for this or other configuration examples?

Hello RZHER,
if the hotel is using a Captive Portal (like Bluesocket) to authenticate network access you have to allow this connection otherwise the AP will not switch you through.
