Does on access scan run with program x

Hi!

I have a question about on-access scan. We have a program that validates content of data. It does that by reading headers of files. My question is, does Endpoint automatically scan every file the program reads or not? Is on-access scanning configured so that it will only work with some programs or does it run with every program?

    Hello Zvetam,

    on-access works at the system level. It is not attached to any program.
    Sometimes it is requested that on-access should ignore a particular program's (e.g. backup software) filesystem activity - i.e. to not scan files opened by this program. As of now this is not possible.
