Sophosmgr account locks out

hi, i shutdown our old enterprise console server and installed a new server. however  i noticed that the SophosUpdateMgr account always locked and client cannot update if the account is locked.  any help is greatly appreciated. thanks

    if the account is locked out again almost immediately after you've unlocked it then likely many or all of your clients use an incorrect password, if it takes a few minutes or more it's only a very few clients. 

    How did you go about replacing your server? If you you've kept the server's name but don't use the same password on the (local) SophosUpdateMgr account there might be some clients which have not received the new updating policies. You could create a different account to use with your updating policies. While the problem clients still won't be able to update the rest of your network will be ok.
