SAV10 - gradual deployment help

I need to deploy SAV10 to the PC estate. However all PCs sit in one AD container and this is synchronized. I obviously don't want to update the policy for that group as it will deploy 10 to every PC on the betwork.

I cant put a few PCs into a EC test group as the console tells me I cant remove a computer from a synchronized group.

Should I turn off synchronization for a while to enable me to create a test group for SAV10?

Hello Swanny,
to move some PCs to a different group you'd either have to create a different AD container (under your current one - which would automatically create a subgroup) or turn off sync.

Cheers for the reply. I cant move PCs within AD due to GPO dependencies. I'll turn off sync for a while and create a separate Sophos group.
