agen-xuv still in CID\SUM even after removing it - it keeps appearing

Should agen-xuv still be appearing in the CID on my SUM?  I spoke with my account manager and he asked around and said it should not.  Is this the case?  I do however see javab-jd.ide in there as well.  If i remove agen-xuv it reappears after updating my SUM.

  • Yes, agen-xuv should still be in the CID and on the endpoints. The file agen-xuv has more than one virus definition in it, so it is still needed. That IDE is only a problem if you don't have javab-jd.ide as well, or aren't using the Live Update feature. Javab-jd has the fix for the false positive, and the cloud lookups for SHH detections (cloud lookups are part of Live Protection) will avoid the false positive if you don't have javab-jd. HTH
