Nope, it has to be MS SQL Server. SQL 2005+ is supported but as a free version of SQL, I'd recommend SQL 2008 R2 where possible. To do so, create a SQL 2008 R2 instance called SOPHOS (could be anything but SOPHOS makes sense), then run the installation, you can then choose it at the 'database' page.
