Domain accounts had been created on domain controllers?????

 Can I get clarify why Sophos created several domain accounts SAU<machinename> on our domain controllers after the last update in April. What are they for? what is the purpose? please advise, thanks

    this is kind od strange to us, seemed that these domain controllers were not protected by Sophos and back in April an update was done and all the accounts were created in AD, sorry my ignorance on this but I just got inherited...
