Stand alone computer virus definitions update.

How I able to update the antivirus definitions (updates) without an internet or network . Is it possible that i can copy the updates into a flash disk and update  the stand alone computer .?

    if your computer is truly standalone then updating the a/v definitions will be a little total utility as you will not be updating the operating system nor any of the other third party programs that will have vulnerabilities as well.  The operating system itself will allow bad stuff to go around the a/v if those vulnerabilities exist(which they often do in patched systems).  The a/v itself could also have issues that need updating.  IMO a better thing to do is plug into a router or firewall..get everything including the a/v updated and then unplug.  Do this once a month and you will have a much better security profile than what you have right now.
