On-Premise Endpoint

Sophos Endpoint Software I've added a checksum for a googleupdate.exe to endpoint 10.3 firewall but it still wont run saying it's not whitelisted. what else do I need to do?

Story so far

moved to windows 10 (lost sof problms not all yet fixed)

want to start using chromecast on the laptop

the installer will not run as it says googleupdate.exe is not on the whitelist

I have added googleupdate.exe to the checksum for the primary location - why wil it not access the internet

Hi Jason,

This might be a question for the firewall team. Could you confirm what is the product you are using?

I will point it our to our community manager to get the topic moved accordingly.
