Autoupdate and SAVXP are being skipped - trace updating log attached, please advise

Hi, I turned on my laptop this morning, saw an error that Sophos was not up to date. I've cleared my updating logs (went to ProgramData/Sophos...logs) and waited for the next update and saw the below trace log file. I've had a look at a couple of other similar posts to the forum, but my trace log doesn't seem to match others in terms of error messages. Maybe all is now well, but I wanted to check that there were no issues - or if there are, any suggestions or solutions would be very welcome.

Two sets of lines in particular have caught my attention:

Trace(2015-Jan-20 08:40:58): CIDUpdate(SyncProduct.Start): Sophos AutoUpdate, http://www2.lshtm.ac.uk/sophos/sophospc/
Trace(2015-Jan-20 08:40:58): Checksum found in master.upd matches cached cidsync.upd : fba06088. Skipping download

and 

Trace(2015-Jan-20 08:40:57): CIDUpdate(SyncProduct.Start): SAVXP, http://www2.lshtm.ac.uk/sophos/sophospc/
Trace(2015-Jan-20 08:40:57): Checksum found in master.upd matches cached cidsync.upd : b26a345. Skipping download

Why were updates and SAVXP skipped?

    I've cleared my updating logs

    not the best idea because (forgive...) although after a successful update they are more of academic interest (... the pun). The log you've posted shows a successful update.

    Checksum found in master.upd matches cached cidsync.upd

    The update server checksums the files in the update location. When AutoUpdate downloads the files it caches them , calculates the checksums and compares them to those on the server to verify the download. If they match it stores the checksums (in cidsync.upd) in the cache. Next time it check for updates it starts with downloading the checksums and comparing (per product) them to the stored ones. If they match nothing has changed, nothing must be downloaded and thus the download is skipped.
