SAV general config questions

Hi,

I have sophos antivirus for linux installed on fedora20 and have a few general configuration questions.

Is it the savd that is responsible for automatically updating the antivirus signatures and engine? Will it automatically update the engine when a new one is available, or must that be done manually?

Is it possible to control the virus database update times, or does it always just update once per hour on the half-hour?

How can I change the host the web interface is running on? I don't have a web browser running on the local machine, so I can't access it through localhost.

Where is the documentation that describes the different parameters described in savd.cfg?

    Thanks so much for the tips. Should have thought to do port forwarding.

    I meant how do I find out what options are available for editing with savconfig and what the do/mean?
