Windows 10 Security & Maintenance Windows has just started popping up on some of our machines saying "Choose an antivirus option"

I assume this is some error on Sophos's part I also assume we can just "Turn on and Update Sophos Anti-Virus" but I thought I should ask here as support are taking forever on the phone.

I'm seeing this with Win10 now, too... disappointed to see no replies here on the forum.

I recall seeing warnings on thew website not so long ago about a significant update with much larger file sizes. I will see if I can find it.

We just got this today on our Windows 7 machines. Looked in the Update manager and it's showing me that it's up to date.

I saw the error on my own Windows 7 machine, and I got reports from my team members about seeing the error.

Is it possible that due to the large package size, there's a small window of time when the computer is actually not protected according to however Microsoft detects this?
