All MAC Client stuck on 5.01 Threat Defs

Hello All,

WIth both my manged Mac install that points to my interal cid servers and also with the sophos provided free home edition that points to Sophos servers I've noticed that all machines running this can only update to version 9.11 (latest engine to my knowledge) and Threat Def version 5.01.. as of This month the latest threat definiintons version is 5.03..this is a big issue when you run a netaccess server and need to pass certain checks before getting onto the network.. Does anyone know what is going on with the MAC agents?? Did sophos not update the CIDs on their end??

the Detection Data is 5.01 for the Mac Recommended 9.0.11. According to the Calendar of release dates 9.1.6 (with unspecified VDL) is scheduled for August. Guess that the VDL for Macs is "out of sync" is due to the Changes to the delivery of virus data updates - Data as a supplement - the article doesn't mention the 9.0.x Enterprise Mac version and I assume DaaS will be implemented with the forthcoming 9.1.x.

Please note that the free Mac Home edition routinely runs a different version number to the managed product, and is currently on version 9.0.8 as shown in the Current Versions article http://www.sophos.com/en-us/support/knowledgebase/11846.aspx
Sandy thanks for the reply. Ok so I'm not sure why for the month of August the VDL is stuck on 5.01. And as an FYI I know hte kb says the Mac Home edition is 9.0.8 but if you actually download, install and update it. You will see that it goes from version 9.0.8 (Threat data&colon; 3.98) to version 9.0.11 (Threat data&colon; 5.01)
