Does Sophos EndPoint Protection v 10.0 protect against the CryptoLocker threat?

I have reviewed the various forums looking for an answer to this question, but did find any specific information. What I have found is information about the threat, what it is, how it works, how it is typically propagated and how to avoid it. However I have not found any information that Sophos is a current and effective solution to protect users and their networks against this threat. I have found much information regarding other vendors and products and their defenses. I apologize if I have missed this information within the Sophos sites and forums. If this information does exist, can someone please point me to it? Thank you

    The video we produced showing CryptoLocker in action does show that with Sophos installed and up to date the malware cannot run on a computer.  In the video we demostrate that the on-access scanner (and Tamper Protection) have to be bypassed to allow the threat to run.

    So, yes.  Sophos protects your computers.
