On-Access Scanning Disabled for Citrix XenClient VDI

I've followed the Sophos best practices for cloned virtual machines, but each VDI instance has on-access scanning disabled. http://www.sophos.com/en-us/support/knowledgebase/12561.aspx I've tried to restart the services while logged into the VDI instance, but on-access scanning shows as disabled. On the Sophos Enterprise console, I get the error "Failed to connected to the on-access driver (0x80070002). http://www.sophos.com/en-us/search-results.aspx?search=a0490001&refine=54ad626c9fa14d0d93a1dfa5c5b48aaf When I click on the above link, the permission are as instructed in the knowledge-base article and the SavOnAccessSid exists. The one thing that's screwy is that the SavOnAccessSid on the VDI instance is identical to the SavOnAccessSid on the golden image. Can anyone help point me in the right direction?
