Sophos Enterprise Console Services

Has anyone come across an issue where the Enterprise Console services stop, and then are unable to restart as the credentials they store no longer work. However when you reenter the same credentials they are able to strt back up?

    If you've manually set them in services.msc, I can only assume windows installer is repairing the install to break them again.  I can't think what else would change them once set.  The event log might confirm this.  

    I would suggest, upgrade to SEC 5.2.2 if possible, if you're already there or can't upgrade then run setup.exe of the current installed version to "modify" the install.  Re-entering the details as required should "Fix" it.

    E.g.

    \sec_52\ServerInstaller\Setup.exe

    Thank you for the suggestion but that unfortunately made no difference, we had to re-enter the account details again.
