proxy server isssues

Hi All,

Currently I have site to site VPN. All my client machines are accessing externally through a proxy server. Web serving is fine as the proxy is configured on the browser itself.

Sophos endpoint also able to update via the proxy. This is done by editing the config file.

Here comes the issue, my sophos clients are not able to report back to the enterprise console. Status on enterprise console is still showing down.

I have allowed the entire range of LAN IP address to access the server but still no luck.

Last but not least, proxy is a squid proxy.

Can someone please point me in the right direction? I am pulling my hair for this. Thank in advance.

    Hello Alex,

    please read the article I've linked in my previous post. It's not as complicated as it might seem. Basically you need an additional update location which you configure accordingly. Endpoints which should use the relay have to download from there to get the custom mrinit.conf. They don't "detect" the relay automatically.
