Protect client not on domain

Hi all,

i new sophos. i have just installed sophos enterprise console 5.2.2 on my company. With client on domain everything ok.

But i have a issue with client not on domain. i search on forum and see a topic talk with this issue. But policy of my company dont give me use a domain account same with account on client workgroup. Before i use kaspersky i can do this but with sophos that so headache. plz tell me how i can protect all client on workgroup ?

    Hello Windz,

    if you have to use Protect Computers (as you have probably read there are other ways to install) there's no way around the 'same credentials' requirement. If neither using the same credentials for the domain and workgroup account (haven't checked whether it actually still works) nor using an additional server-local account with the desired credentials are permitted you have to use some other installation method (e.g. scheduling setup.exe with schtasks as the console would do). .
