local Sophos Monitoring via tools like zabbix

On Windows is there a way to check the local health status of the installed sophos client including updates, services and pending reboots? I don't want to manually check the Enterprise Console (SEC). We are using network monitor tools like zabbix and nagios. I don't think the sophoshealthcheck tool is the right way to run it regularly. Is there an API which can get contacted or some client tools. Maybe some powershell scripts.
