Having trouble backing up Sophos database using backupdb.bat

Hi,

So basically I'm trying to backup my database to another location on the same server (usb drive) and it keeps failing.

My database location is: C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL$SOPHOS\Data\SOPHOS50_log_LDF

And I want to back it up to: E:\Sophos\ (which is the usb drive)

I am using the following command:

backupdb.bat e:\sophos "C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL$SOPHOS\Data\SOPHOS50_log.LDF" SOPHOS50

And getting ths following error:

Hi,

You reference the instance to backup the database, e.g:

backupdb.bat E:\sophos50db.bak .\sophos SOPHOS50

This will create the backup file E:\sophpos50db.bak from a SOPHOS50 named database in a local SOPHOS named instance.

As there are multiple databases:

Remember to create a backup of each database for the SEC version.

It might be easier to run, databackuprestore.exe:

this will backup everything.
