removing Avira Business Suite via Enterprise Console

Hi everybody,

we need to roll out on >100 clientes the Sophos Enpoint Agents to replace the existing Avira product. Unfortunaly we receive an error during the installation "....49 unable to remove" :smileyfrustrated:

We have open via GPO the client firewall but I belive, that the Avira firewall is blocking the installation /deinstallation.

Is there any way to remove the avira suite without doing it manual at every client ??

Hello Michael,
please see List of third-party security software removed by Sophos Endpoint Security and Control and Sophos Competitor Removal Tool: significant files and information. Can't find Avira Business Suite in the former (and in addition I'm not sure what a blank Detect only column signifies). Anyway, products with a firewall component will not be removed by default, please see the second article for details.
