Policy Inheritance? Can I apply Policy to Child containers?

is there not a way to configure a policy to pass down the tree/cascade/child container?? Using AD sync atm..it's going to drive me mad if I have to individually configure every single containers policy

  • Hello LoXodonte,

the lack of "policy inheritance" should only be an issue if you exchange (i.e. replace with another) a policy for a (super)group and at least one of the subgroups has at least one policy different of the supergroup. But even then you can work around it. Only when you have a complex group structure and an "orthogonal policy structure" it's a real problem.

Could you be more specific about your problem? There might be an if not simple but rather easy and acceptable way to achieve what you need.
