threat message re Troj/Fujif-Gen

I keep getting a Sophos message popping up alerting me to "virus/spyware' Troj/Fujif-Gen that has been detected and moved to quarantine. However, clicking to view quarantine manager reveals that the virus has not been moved there. I understand that this problem occurred about 18 months ago and the Sophos advice was to clear the browser cache. So I cleared the browser cache for all three browsers on my computer and rebooted but the message is still appearing. Has anyone else had this problem? And if so how can it be removed?

  • Hello Jimolana,

what do you mean by clicking to view quarantine manager reveals that the virus has not been moved there? That the QM is empty (or contains only "other" entries)? You should find the details of the detection (and possible sunsequent actions) in the Anti-Virus and HIPs log (SAV.txt). If you are unsure what it's trying to tell you please post  few lines here.
