malwares again and again

Hi all,

I keep on receiving notifications about sophos detected malwares, and telling me that it was sent to quarantine but they keep on coming back. Does it means that sophos can't remove these malwares? How to get rid of these malwares?

Thanks in advance

  • Hello entong,

moved to quarantine means that the threat has not been "finally" dealt with. On the client open the Quarantine Manager, on the console Resolve alerts and errors lets you deal with the detections. It depends on the settings in effect, the threat and its location whether it is or can be (automatically) cleaned/deleted.

Please have a look at the manuals as well as the threats' descriptions for specific instructions.
