Installation of product SAVXP failed

Hi all,

I have problems with Sophos: the autoupdate fails every time I restart the computer. Please see the attached screenshot for the log-file. I referred to this page (http://www.sophos.com/en-us/support/knowledgebase/9000/9100/120450.aspx) already but it looks like the tmp variable is already specified correctly (as C:\windows\temp). What should I do?

    that's the file, unfortunately doesn't it contain more information. My interpretation is that CheckUninstallDrivers does find some of the drivers which should only be present if SAVXP is indeed installed (if I understand you correctly you said you expect it to be there).

    Why did you reinstall, and a couple of times? Does the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Sophos\Sophos Anti-Virus exist? If so, what's in it (just and outline, not the list of files).  From the fact that this is a standalone package and the computer's name I conjecture this is "home use" (and therefore your site's support is limited).
