Hi,
I just finished installing OS X Mavericks (10.9) a few days ago and ever since the installation I've been unable to update my Sophos Anti-Virus. Here's some of the details...
Macbook Pro (OS X Version 10.9)
Sophos Anti-Virus (Version 8.0.19)
There's a big "X" in the shield at the top of the desktop. When I click on it, a message is displayed (Failed to Download Update). I've tried to update it multiple times, connected to multiple networks (even with an Ethernet cord) and every time an error message pops up: "Could not contact primary server". This has been going on for about 24 hours now.
I suspect this error has something to do with the Mavericks update, but I haven't been able to figure out what. Do I need to download a new version of Sophos Anti-Virus?
Thanks for any helpful responses.
*Also please note that I am not very tech-savvy, so if there is an in-depth fix required I'll need someone patient to help walk me through it...thank you!
