  • Thanks and sorry for posting my problem in several threads, its because i put so many attention to this problem, since the website is not down, and already tested pc w/o SAV on it as endpoint protection and success to open the link, seems Sophos blocked it. so can i just pass this site/link in sophos console setting, so sophos would not scan to this link when it tries to open?

    Thanks in advance

  • Hello Donsius,

right now I can access the site - usually you get an alert when a site is blocked and the details would be helpful. Furthermore, sites are not blocked just for the fun of it. That it isn't blocked if you don't run Sophos is no surprise - if "bad" sites were generally unaccessible why would one need additional protection? Please also note that neither a specific name or IP indicate a unique server, if there are several "behind" it one might be compromised while the others are clean.

Do not exempt (and by no means permanently) a site just because "it works" without Sophos - one should be always be careful, especially with banking sites.
