Sophos install fails at SQL Server 2008 install with error -2067529721

Sophos enterprise management 5.1.0 installation fails at SQl Server 2008 install. Exact error given is this : ERROR : Command: Microsoft SQL Server 2008 failed with error: -2067529721

Verified all prerequisites were passed. Restarted and updates were installed correctly. Tried preinstall of SQL Server 2008 and then attempted Enterprise management install to no avail, I get the same error. Unsure how to proceed with this. I have the full log that can be submitted if needed.

    HI,

    If the SQL Server instance is failing to be created I would suggest to try installing a SQL 2008 R2 instance manually:

    To do so, download the appropriate installer from here:

    http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=26729

    SQLEXPR_x64_ENU.exe

    or

    SQLEXPR_x86_ENU.exe

    When you go through the installer, you can call the instance anything you like, it will default to sqlexpress, you can call it SOPHOS, this would be the default Sophos instaler creates.

    Once that has been created, if you run the Sophos install again you will be able to choose this instance.

    The benefits to this being you're using a later instance of SQL which has benefits and there is a good change the install may complete.
