Sophos Endpoint 10.3 Updating Definitions

Hi

I was wondering if there was a way of updating the definitions without ever connecting to a network.  Basically I've got 5 laptops that will never sit one network (basically they are used for testing purposes of other networks and due to the company I work for I cannot connect them to the main company network - if that makes sense).

I've previously worked with McAffee and basically you just downloaded the SDAT file, double clicked and bob's your uncle it updated the definitions.  Is there a way of doing this with Sophos (this is the first time i've used the product)?  I've had a look at so other threads but none seem to be what I need (either that or i'm interpreting it incorrectly).

thanks for your help

  • No unfortuantly not, our 'main' network uses Mcaffee.  As mentioned there is no problems with the IDE's as I can download them, stick them on a USB device/CDROM and copy them across but I'm not seeing anything for the Software updates.

I can see how it can be done it just seems you need the Enterprise console installed
